Today, DAINTTA and Roseman Labs are announcing they’re bringing an already operational capability from the Netherlands, to UK Healthcare, Policing and Defense. This collaboration combines Roseman Labs’ battle-tested encrypted computing engine, with DAINTTA’s sector knowledge and delivery capability, applied to problems UK agencies are already working on.
The proposition for customers is end-to-end project implementation for organisations that want to gain new insights working together in information-sharing networks, without revealing underlying records.
Multi-agency questions are simple to state: Is this person known to more than one health service? Has this company surfaced in another force's investigations? Does this vehicle appear in another agency’s records?
The answers to these questions and the richer insights beyond, rarely sit inside one dataset. They are more often found where several datasets meet - intersecting across commercial, jurisdictional and privacy boundaries. No organisation can see the whole picture, and none can put the pieces together alone.
Operational risk, legal restrictions, and a lack of trust keep cross-agency datasets apart. Overcoming these constraints often takes longer than the time in which a new insight can be useful. The result is intelligence that arrives late, incomplete or not at all, in the places where that costs the most. The need for securely exchanging insights [LC1] is growing urgently, while the barriers around sensitive data must remain.
Roseman Labs already runs in production across National Security, Financial Services and Healthcare. The platform enables participants to build secure information sharing networks to deliver new insights on sensitive data with multi-party computation (MPC) – an encryption-in-use technology. Joint analysis runs across encrypted datasets, where each party receives only the answer to a question agreed in advance, such as a match or a count. No party, Roseman Labs included, sees the underlying records. This makes it possible for organisations to learn from even the most sensitive datasets: Does a pattern repeat across sectors, or only in one? Where is the same entity being handled by several bodies that do not know about each other?
The approach is already operational in the Netherlands, in settings where the bar for confidentiality is high. Roseman Labs holds BSPA certification from the Dutch General Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD). The platform underpins the Dutch NCSC's SecureNed threat intelligence network, which spans more than 100 organisations. At University Medical Centre Utrecht, the SCAN initiative links patient-level data across a network of more than 60 hospitals to detect signs of child abuse earlier, without any hospital sharing raw records. It won the Dutch Privacy Award 2026.
One Roseman Labs customer says: "With Roseman Labs, we can collaborate in ways that simply weren't possible before." Another calls it "a fundamental change: letting facts drive decisions without compromising privacy."
The platform delivers the insights. Choosing the right questions, and acting on the answers is what drives the change. This is where DAINTTA leads, bringing sector expertise and strong relationships across UK government programmes to identify the use cases that matter, frame them as real operational problems and deliver them in secure environments.
That includes the unglamorous work underneath: making sure records matched across organisations really do refer to the same entity, because a joint insight is only as trustworthy as that match.
"Organisations have never lacked the will to collaborate on data. What has been missing is a way to do it that their lawyers, their security teams and the public can all trust. Roseman Labs provides that, and our job is to point it at the problems that matter." Simon Driscoll, Director of Data & AI, Daintta
Traditional data sharing meant centralising data, negotiating complex agreements, and accepting a loss of control or increased exposure. In highly sensitive environments, that approach does not scale.
This partnership offers a different model: secure information sharing networks without data pooling. It allows organisations to:
Put simply, Daintta identifies and delivers the intelligence use case. Roseman Labs provides the trusted collaboration layer underneath it.
The partnership begins with a small number of lighthouse use cases:
The aim is not a string of isolated projects. It is repeatable, scalable models for secure data collaboration. The governance, legal templates and technical setup proven with one force or trust become the starting point for the next, so the second deployment takes a fraction of the effort of the first. As each secure network grows, the value from the partnership grows.
“UK agencies already work across organisational lines every day, through safeguarding hubs, joint taskforces and shared programmes. They each have questions they cannot answer alone, and the data behind that work is still held apart. Daintta knows those programmes from the inside: who owns each problem, and what governance an answer has to pass through. With our platform underneath, agencies can start with a live operational question on day one, , and build towards answers in a matter of weeks.” Toon Segers, Director National Security, Roseman Labs.
The barrier to joint intelligence is no longer data collection and data-pooling. The gate to reach new insights will come from building secure information sharing networks that want to learn from their data, without giving up control. It is the answers within datasets, not the access, that will unlock opportunities to solve critical cross-agency problems.
If your organisation holds a question that only makes sense across datasets you cannot combine, we would like to hear from you.
