Earlier this year, the Vehicle Crime Insurance Agency (Stichting VbV) and Roseman Labs signed a cooperation agreement to support efforts to overcome data-exchange challenges in the fight against vehicle crime.

VbV plays a central role in tracking and recovering stolen vehicles across the Netherlands. To strengthen its impact, the agency needed a way to connect the dots between fragmented datasets—insurance damage reports, vehicle data, and theft dossiers. Traditional data-sharing approaches were either too risky or too restrictive to make this possible, so VbV sought a platform that would allow them to build a better picture of criminal activity, while respecting strict privacy regulations.

Roseman Labs technology enables VbV to query and analyze data across multiple parties without exposing the underlying information, ensuring full compliance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This gives investigators the ability to detect patterns, process anomalies, and verify critical ownership and authorization data while safeguarding personal information at every step.
